Outlook + Leadmonk

Outlook Calendar

Connect your Office 365 or Outlook.com calendar(s) to Leadmonk to automate appointment scheduling and simplify appointment-related tasks in your inbox. With Leadmonk for Outlook, you can automate appointment scheduling without the back-and-forth - (1:1 & group meetings).

Steps to connect your Office 365 or Outlook.com calendar to Leadmonk

  • Go to Settings => Calendar page in Leadmonk app

  • If you've already connected a calendar, this popup window shows the connected calendar(s) as well. Choose the highlighted Outlook calendar button to connect Office365/Outlook/Hotmail calendar. You'll be prompted to sign in to your Microsoft Office 365 or Outlook.com account to connect the calendar.

Calendar Connection

Once the calendar is connected, Leadmonk will begin reading your availability — based on your calendar events — right away.

Within your Office 365 calendar, you can set your event status to Free, Working Elsewhere, Tentative, Busy, or Away/Out of office. Most of the time, events are marked as Busy in your calendar so people cannot double book you. However, you may want to update your status when you're out of the office or on holiday.

By default, Leadmonk considers you as unavailable during events that are marked as Busy, Working Elsewhere, or Away, and those times will not show on your scheduling page.

Consent and admin approval

When connecting your calendar, you may encounter a message requiring admin approval, permissions, or consent. If you need approval, work with your IT admin to grant the relevant permissions in Microsoft. To learn more about consent in Azure Active Directory, view Microsoft's:
