What Are The 3 Ways To Manage Your Google Business Profile?

Google is still the review site of choice - 73% of consumers are likely to check Google reviews before visiting a business location. Google reviews significantly influence the way customers think about your company. They are also crucial for businesses looking to get discovered in search results. Getting your local business to rank high on Google Search and Maps organically continues to be one of the best ways for local businesses to get more website visits, calls, customers to their physical location– and more sales.

Google Business Profiles have replaced Google Places for Business, Google Listings, and Google+ Business Pages.

On your business profile, highlight essential info and show what makes your business unique. Whether you’re a restaurant, store, or service provider, your profile helps customers do business with you easily and directly with menus, quotes, and more.

Reach more customers in three simple steps, with your free Business Profile.

Step 1.    Claim - Create a Business Profile, or manage an existing profile on Search and Maps

Step 2.    Personalize - Add hours, photos, and other details and get discovered by customers near you

Step 3.    Manage - Share updates, respond to reviews, and connect with customers on Google

The Google My Business app has been replaced

The Google Maps app has now replaced the Google My Business mobile app. You can use the Google Maps app to manage your Business Profile on your mobile device. On your desktop, you can manage directly from Google Search in the browser.

The 3 Ways To Manage Your Google Business Profile

To start, make sure you are signed in with the Google account used to verify your business.

1. Google Business Profile Manager

The business profile manager interface is easy to use and understand. It’s best to use this if you manage multiple profiles/locations. To use business profile manager, go to  https://www.google.com/intl/en_in/business/ or search Google Business Profile on Google search to visit the site.

2. Directly from Google Search

On Google Search, you can look up your business by name or search for “my business” to update your profile.

3. Google Maps App

On Google Maps, simply tap your profile picture on the top right corner of the mobile app and select “Your Business Profile” to access these tools. To update your business info on your desktop using Google Maps, refer to the below steps.

Edit business information in Google Maps on Desktop

1. Open Google Maps.

2. Search for your business name as per your Google business profile.

3. You see the search results on the left side of the maps window. Click on the business location you want to edit.
